I've watched it happen for years. Real PAM isn't one product, it's about eight phases of work spread across five or six different tools, and most of it runs by hand. So teams start, get a handful of accounts rotated, and then call it a day. Most of the risk stays exposed. And when an auditor or insurer asks what's actually covered, nobody can say for sure.

I started out as an engineer at Adobe, then spent the last ten-plus years building companies. At CyberQP we decided to stop patching PAM and rebuild it around an AI agentic harness. Not a chatbot glued onto a dashboard or throw it over the wall to a frontier AI model. We built the model ourselves and run it inside the same security boundary as everything else.
