If you choose to enrol your device's biometrics (such as fingerprint or face unlock) in the QTech app, that check is performed by your device's operating system. Biometric data is not transmitted to or stored by CyberQP.
CyberQP can get your information if you apply for a job at CyberQP.
CyberQP uses the collected data for various purposes:
CyberQP is a Canadian company. Our staff operate the Service from Canada, so personal data we hold may be accessed and processed there. The European Commission has recognised Canada as providing an adequate level of protection for personal data handled by organisations subject to Canada's federal privacy law (PIPEDA), and the United Kingdom has made an equivalent finding. Transfers of EU and UK personal data to CyberQP in Canada take place on that basis.
Customer data for the Service is hosted on infrastructure operated by Google Cloud and MongoDB Atlas. Data for customers in the European Union and United Kingdom is stored within the European Union. Data for all other customers, including trial users, is stored in North America (United States and Canada) unless your agreement with us says otherwise.
Some of the service providers listed below are located in the United States. Where personal data originating in the EU or UK is transferred to them, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses incorporated in our agreements with those providers and, where the provider is certified, on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension. You can request a copy of the safeguards that apply to your data by contacting us.
Do we sell any information?
No, we do not sell information to anyone.
CyberQP may disclose your Personal Data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:
The security of your data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service ("Service Providers"), to provide the Service on our behalf, to perform Service-related services or to assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.
These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
Our current subprocessors for the Service are published at trust.cyberqp.com and include Google Cloud (infrastructure), MongoDB Atlas (data storage), and Twilio and SendGrid (message delivery). For this website we use Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot), Google Analytics, OptinMonster, YouTube, Cloudflare and CookieYes; our Cookie Policy lists the cookies each of them sets.
Our Service may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that third party's site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit.
We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 18 ("Children").
We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 18. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your Children has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
We will let you know via email and/or a prominent notice on our Service, prior to the change becoming effective and update the "effective date" at the top of this Privacy Policy.
